For a change our Wednesday luncheon run took place on Tuesday, so our visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre coincided with their Avro Lancaster “Just Jane” taking paying guests on taxi runs, up the grass airstrip that is GJ, not to Skegness.
The route was enjoyed by all despite the fact that some covered a few more miles than planned, (sorry Gordon), because yours truly cannot recognise a mini-roundabout when it is in front of him.
Now in an alteration to the proposed programme the July luncheon run will be a return visit to the Railway Inn at New Ellerby, the route will be Terry’s because I liked it and it will be emailed with a menu in time for the 20th.
