Each member of the MG Car Club belongs to one of the club’s 12 geographically based regional Centres that aim to bring together local MG enthusiasts so that they can participate in locally organised events.
The Yorkshire Centre’s remit is to cover the interest of members in Yorkshire. Due to the variance of geography we find that some of our members come from the surround counties while others from Yorkshire may belong to adjoining centres.
Your first contact with the Centre may well be at one of our monthly meeting (Natters ) these are pub gatherings where you can meet local members socially. Attendances at these informal meetings vary from just a few to 30 or so enthusiasts.
We have meetings (Natters) located in the North, South, East & West areas of Yorkshire these are equally attended by ladies & gentlemen of all ages to which you will be most warmly welcomed

£2,500.
If you wish to know more, please telephone Chris Dakeyne URGENTLY after 6:30 during the week: 07950 520836 All the paperwork for the cars has been supplied to an auction house, but they are registered in Chris’s name now. There is some history, but Alan has written it on a board on the garage wall that’s about 5ft long! Chris can photograph it if anyone is really interested.
Chris took the Magnette out on Sunday 5th November and given her a wash. She fired up easily, but the front drums were rather tight, probably since she’s been stationary for some time.
Both cars may be seen if you speak to Chris, however they are going off to a the auction house C.W .Harrison & Son in Ossett on 15 Nov. Hence why I mention the Urgency. The online auction ends on 12 December, 7.00pm . it’s being handled by the people who are disposing of the house contents, so anyone interested needs to move quite fast. (or bid, of course). It’s on i-bidder and bidspotter.
