It was with shock and sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Andrew Murfin in October. Andrew was a former natter leader and member of the Centre Committee where his superb organisational skills were called upon many times. As the natter plans our 20 year anniversary next year, we remember Andrew’s single handed organisation of the 10 th anniversary which he did with meticulous attention to detail.
Andrew had a passion for the old motor sport events and was a competitor in Regularity tests and historic rallies taking his TD to Monte Carlo in a rally re- run and competed several times in the Liege events. Indeed at his last Liege event Andrew was navigated by famous International navigator Willy Cave, who complemented Andrew on his driving.
Andrew was a kind and generous man and greeted everyone with a smile; he will be sadly missed but we are thankful for all the fond memories of Andrew’s company.
Our condolences are with Hillary and their family
