Taking advantage of the July sunshine the whole of the natter evening was held around the picnic tables and the varied collection of MG’s in the carpark ranging through the years from Geoffrey Wilsons 1937 VA to Robin and Linda Kent’s 2016 MG3 with the Star only being entered to re-fill empty glasses.
North Yorkshire joined us for breakfast at Tong Garden Centre before the start of this year’s Compass Run, 21 cars left for a scenic run passing the Scotts Arms home to the 24/39 Group who joined the run which finished at the Yorkshire Farming Museum York the focal point for this year’s event, a total of 49 MG’s made an attractive display within the museum exhibits.
