Dear Fellow Classic Car Enthusiast,
In addition to hosting traditional evening or lunch time Natters, many Car Clubs are now arranging additional events such as Breakfast meetings, Lunch in the Country runs or social drives to enable their members to make the most of their vehicles.
The MGCC MGF Register, Yorkshire Group, and Beverley Tiger Natter have arranged a ‘Brunch Meeting’ to be held on Friday, 11th July, commencing at 11.00 at Oliver’s on the Mount Cafe, Scarborough, YO11 2UG). As the name of the cafe suggests, it is situated on part of the iconic Oliver’s Mount Motor Racing Circuit which is well known for hosting top quality Motorcycle Road Racing and other Motorsport events.
The timing has been arranged to allow as many people as possible to drive to the event without having to set off from their homes in the middle of the night! There is a small car park opposite the entrance to the cafe as well as ample on street parking in the immediate area. The event is open to everyone, whether an MG Car Club member or not, so please feel free to invite your family and friends to join you and meet up with fellow like minded enthusiasts for a social gathering. Due to the fact that people will be commencing their journeys from all points of the compass, there is not a set route to follow to get to the Cafe, but please feel free to join up as a group and travel together should you wish.
You will see from the attached menu that both Breakfast and Lunch time items are available, hence our meeting being described as Brunch!
The Cafe have asked us to pre-order our meals in order to allow them to provide us with prompt and efficient service, and to pay a £10 per person deposit to secure sufficient tables in the Cafe.
