Dear Car Enthusiast,
You are invited to take part in The Wolds Way Silver Jubilee Run, on Sunday 8th May 2022,
supporting the charities Yorkshire Cancer Research and Dove House Hospice. Additional voluntary
donations will be gratefully received by the charities.
The event is a full day social run of around 115 miles through the scenic East Riding of Yorkshire
visiting both coast and the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. All MG Cars and all marques of Vintage,
Classic and Sports Cars are welcome to enter.
The circular run is easily navigated using the tulip-style route book, which also includes
information of the areas we are visiting. This year the start and finish is at the impressive Cave
Castle Hotel, South Cave, just 5 minutes drive from the A63 (continuing onto the M62).
Cave Castle Hotel is specially reserving a room for The Wolds Way Run entrants to sign on and
enjoy a tea or coffee. Here also is the option to dine on an exceptional 3 course meal after the
event. For several years the MG Car Club Yorkshire Centre, East Yorkshire Natter have had their
excellent Christmas Lunch here. The hotel’s special menu with excellent food choices must be prebooked on the event entry form. For those wishing to stay overnight rooms may be booked direct

We are delighted to again have the support of the local MG Dealership, Maple Garage, who are
kindly providing the car rally plaques. The special silver rally plaques were purchased in 2020
when the Wolds Way Silver Jubilee Run was to have been held on 17 May. We have decided not to
spoil the plaques by trying to alter the date.
Entry fees for the Run per car are: MGCC Members £20 Non-members £25
Tea or coffee is included at the start.
Dining at Cave Castle Hotel per person £26.50 for the 3 courses,
The menu shall be sent to you to make your choices prior to the event.
