Following the success of the events which the Yorkshire MGF/TF Group have enjoyed in recent years, such as the ‘Fish and Chip’ runs, and the ‘Pie and Chips’ run last summer, we have decided to arrange another similar event for Spring 2023. This will feature some of the highlights of previous years events, and also introduce us to some new areas and venues for us to explore in our region which has so much to offer.
The format will remain the same, in that it will be held over 2 days in midweek. We will meet at a suitable breakfast venue on Tuesday 2nd May, then embark on a drive through some stunning Yorkshire scenery, including a coffee stop at an interesting venue, before continuing our journey to our overnight hotel. By popular demand, we are returning to Dunsley Hall near Whitby, where we have secured 12 rooms at the very attractive rate of £169 per couple. This is for the popular ‘Super Six’ deal which includes tea and coffee with cakes on arrival, a pre dinner champagne and canape reception, evening meal in a private dining room, upgraded bedroom, and full English breakfast prior to a leisurely departure on Wednesday morning. We will then enjoy another drive through the stunning Yorkshire scenery, including moors, coast and Dales, with a comfort break included half way, prior to a mid afternoon arrival at our finishing venue. We are returning to The Gait Inn at Millington, where we have secured a private dining room for our group. A menu will be circulated nearer the time to enable us to pre order our food in advance. We expect to eat at about 4PM, so will have ample time to chat and spend further time together prior to making our way home. Should anyone want to extend their stay, there is plenty of local accommodation available, or Dunsley Hall will be pleased to welcome any one for a further night.
