A 1940’s Themed Celebration of Army Aviation
The MGCC Yorkshire Centre have again been invited to attend the Real Aeroplane Club’s G-George Day event at Breighton airfield on Saturday 16th August 2025.
Those who have joined us in previous years will know what an interesting and fun filled day it is. If you haven’t been before it’s a real treat for vintage aviation enthusiasts combined with retro style and fun.
Key flying attractions are still being formulated but, from past experience, this is an event where anything could turn up on the day. BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire, Dakota, WW1 Biplanes etc and many static displays to inspect. Brass Band music and Lindy Hop dancing, Classic Car and Motorbike Clubs etc.
The event is open to the public and is usually very well attended. However, display vehicles are only admitted as part of a recognised club entry.
All MG cars are eligible to enter.
