In the sweltering sunshine at the beginning of July we headed to Thornes Park (Wakefield) for the Fleur-de-Lys classic gathering which was very well attended with hundreds of vehicles represented, 15 members parked on the club stand organised by Mick Thorpe. In contrast at the end of July we set off in torrential rain for the Compass Run at the York Yorkshire Farming Museum, by lunchtime the rain stopped and we travelled home with hood down.
