Vale of York – Lunchtime – Ken Cothliff

We welcomed a visitor from further north this meeting: Noel Linford from Tyne Tees Natter; great to see you Noel. Another busy meeting with 28 people present, but the car park was packed – Film crews and vehicles from the “Queen Victoria” drama series two.

A lot to go through with Drive it Day coming up the following Sunday and several classic car shows in the next couple of months. Shows include Newby Hall near Ripon (16 July), Yorkshire Post Father’s Day show at Castle Howard (18 July), and Harewood House Classic car Show at Leeds (2 July) and addition to the Yorks area Compass Run on 30 July.

If you are in the area on any of these dates – do come and see us.

March Meeting

We welcomed another new members this month: Angus Sheldon, and his wife Anna from Seaton Ross, York, and Colin & Miriam Brear from the NY Natter The rest of the Natter was taken up with organizing our inaugural ‘VoY’ Natter event, the April Fool Run on 2nd April from Wetherby to Masham, ending up with a Black Sheep Brewery tour.

A busy summer to come, with various events including Drive it Day, when we join the 24/39 Natter at York Gliding Club and a “Pride of Ownership” in June, and planning an Autumn Run, around the York area.
