I was away in Canada throughout June hence the lack of a report last month. However several Natter members did roll up at the Mason Arms on 16 June. At the July meeting we discussed future events and possibilities of publicizing the Natter. Rod Moreton has agreed to take of the role of treasurer – now to organize some funds! We planned future events, and hope to have Natter attendance at the Otley Vintage Transport Extravaganza in September and a Classic Car meet at the Golden Lion Pub in Northallerton in October
During July I also attended the very popular Classic Car rally at Newby Hall at Ripon, and did some recruiting through the assembled MGs.
Seven cars rolled up at the Masons on Sunday 31st July for the Yorkshire Centre Compass run. I planned a run of 65 miles through the Howardian Hills, and the weather was with us, for a lovely day. Cars from all the Yorkshire natters met up at the Yorkshire Farming Museum in Murton, near York.
If you feel like joining us in this lunchtime Natter, we meet the third Thursday of the Month at the Masons, at Hopperton, just off the A59, close to Junction 47 A1M. Hope to see you there.
