Not a good month for MG in this household, garage door has now failed totally so MGA trapped inside and MGB outside, which leads me into a technical query, the MGB has never been the best first time starter, but now living outside is much improved.
MGB is on drive, starts first time in the cold and damp, obvious thing to do use it more often, keep it running, preferable to it being immobile, well right up until the low speed impact bends the bonnet and trashes the grille, oops.
There are things to be learned from this experience, it is a lot easier to get hold of a good second hand aluminium bonnet than it is a grille, and although you have the time and space to clear out the garage everything in there is useful, even the rusty slot head screws.
