Tiger Natter – July 2017 for Safety Fast September 2017
If there is a Patron Saint of Route Planning then Oli really got on his wrong side, having surveyed and issued a route to the Fauconberg Arms in Coxwold the above-mentioned Deity stepped in with a few road closures. A revised route was issued and in ten MGs and other assorted classics we wend our way north-west only to get within 10 miles of the finish to find a new road closure, not a problem, joined by a huge tipper truck we re-joined the Helmsley road and diverted via Oswaldkirk and Ampleforth.
Well done Oli despite the various road closures a good route to a good pub.
Thursday 16th August is the date for the next run, we shall be following Brooke’s route from Langlands in Shiptonthorpe to the Downe Arms in Wykeham.
Tiger Natters are held from 12:00 noon on the first Wednesday of the month at The Tiger Inn, Lairgate, Beverley, HU17 8JG.
