Not a lot to report car wise, Mel and I retrieved our MGA from the back of the garage where it had been since we returned from the MGA Autumn weekend, and after a check to establish the fuel pump was working, ( I didn’t hear it tick did you?) went for a drive in the afternoon sun. If the weather is as good on Sunday we may drive to Sir Greg’s lunchtime classic car meet at the Black Swan in Brandesburton.
I announced we would be having a quiz this month, and managed to pressgang the members to form five teams, the results being, VFR 59, TA 49, DJS 45, FP 33 and NN 14, so well done the VFR.
As usual good time to think about the summer luncheon runs, I have an idea to suggest a season opening March run back to the Piebald Inn, we will see how that goes down when this is read, and I already have one volunteer looking to do a new route and venue.
