Our first two luncheon runs of the year where new venues, in April we had an enjoyable drive north in spring sunshine to the Downe Arms in Wykeham, where despite a mix up with our booking the staff dealt with us in a pleasant and prompt manner.
May saw us drive east through the drizzle to the White Horse in Church Fenton where again the staff served good food in prompt and pleasant manner, and thanks to Richard and Jill who used all the vehicles at their disposal to bring along seven friends from the Czech Republic. Interestingly there being only one English speaker among our Czech friends we had to do a bit of follow the leader, Mel drove, I navigated and missed a turning on the route I had reconnoitred.
In June on Tuesday 21st we shall be travelling from the Humber Bridge to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, the email has gone out, contact me if you want any further information.
