On the meteorological first day of Summer a biting wind swept across the start venue of our June evening run, before we headed off on our 30 mile route to the White Hart. Only one car braved the elements with hood down as we meandered the lanes to our pub meal. At least it was dry…..
Several members went off to the European Event in June while many Yorkshire Centre members joined the Prince Bishops / St Cuthbert’s runs, both finishing at Durham Cathedral. The runs were organised to the usual high standards of the Tyne Tees Centre and attracted entries from Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire as well as us Northerners.
MG Live presented us with opportunities to meet up with old friends from other Centres and natters as well as seeing Yorkshire members competing out on the race circuit.
Our Pride of Ownership, competing for the Douglas Cup, was held in the car park of the Old Post Office. Congratulations to Malcom Perry whose YB was the choice of the natter.
Numbers were swelled by several ZT and F/TF owners who made the trip to the natter as well as a Maestro Turbo which claimed third place in the Pride of Ownership
