The “Canada Run” on 6 June was a great success; the sun was ‘cracking the flags’ again, and new starting point at the Bridge Inn Walshford was a really good starting point for the event.
A few of us attended the ‘Cars in the Park event at Newby Hall Ripon on 10 May. Then the summer Treasure hunt, organized by Jack and Wilma had not as many entrants as expected (including your ‘scribe’) due to other commitments and was won by Jeff and Kate Marsden in their newly acquired MGA coupe, with Steve and Andrea Coltman coming second in the “Corgi” MGB.
We had seven cars at the Yorkshire Post Classic Car Show at Harewood House, (see photo) and we were joined by another chap (?) in his RV8 who is joining our Natter group. It was a well publicised event in them Leeds area, and attracted good crowds on what was not the sunny day we hoped.
Your ‘scribe’ will be away for the next few weeks in Canada, so I hope someone will step in to do this report.
Photo’s of past events?
