The annual Treasure Hunt was held for the July meeting, organized by Kate Na Jeff Marsden. The run was around the hills to the west of Skipton, with many clues culled from the area. Mike and Val were the well-deserved winners. We welcomed two new members, Paul and Karen Friend. Kate and Jeff organised an evening at Ripon Races, much enjoyed, but no big winners!
Several members also went over to Lancashire, to support the Octagon Club meeting at British Aerospace Sports and Social Club at Samlesbury, near Preston. This is always a well-attended event by several local car clubs, with plenty of MGs in attendance
As this is being written we are hoping for good weather for the annual barbecue.
August is a busy month with members scattered far and wide at various events, culminating with the major run of the year in our area, the Dales Run on 28th August.
