Highlight of the June Natter was the annual Club Summer Walk organized by Mike and Val Payne. Who once again provided the more energetic members amongst our merry band with another memorable evening stroll through our wonderful local countryside. The weather looked threatening at times but fortunately the rain held off, resulting in an enjoyable and well supported event.
Several of our group made the trip down to Silverstone for MG Live to soak up the spectacle of all those MG’s old and new, and to cheer on our resident racing driver Jeff Marsden in his formidable TC. Another grand day out and our thanks to all those who made it happen.
The MGB Register is to visit Yorkshire and will be based at Coniston Hall between 16th.-19th. September. They have invited us to join them on the Saturday and Sunday Runs, and for dinner on Sunday.
Applications for this year’s Dales Run have now reached over eighty, as we head towards our target of 100 cars,
