Our February natter took the form of an illustrated talk by Jon Whittaker, of Whittakers chocolates fame on his life with classic cars. It was most entertaining to hear of Jons excursions into Europe on many occasions in his 8 litre vintage Bentley, a scale model of which he brought along for our inspection. A great fan of the E type Jaguar, he has four, including one of the very last V12’s produced, Jon has had a huge variety of cars throughout his many years as driver. All in all, it was a splendid evening, culminating in an invitation for us to visit his car collection in the summer.
