Wolds Way Run 2019

You are invited to take part in the 24th Wolds Way Run on Sunday 12th May 2019, Motorsport Permit 111375. This well-established event is a full day scenic run of some 100 miles is open to MG and all marques of Sports, Classic and Vintage Cars.

Following the tulip-style route book, which includes information about the area, drive through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds on a new route, starting from Hull UK City of CultureThere is prominent and especially reserved parking for 100 cars around the Rose Bowl fountain, Queen’s Gardens, in the heart of the city centre next to the BBC Studio reception. The finish is at the impressive Cave Castle Hotel and Country Club, South Cave, which is just 5 minutes’ drive from the A63 continuing onto the M62.

Cave Castle Hotel is specially reserving The Balmoral Suite, which has a refreshment bar for the Wolds Way Run entrants, and here is the option to dine. The East Yorkshire Natter, of the MGCC Yorkshire Centre, for many years have their excellent Christmas Lunch here. The special tea-time menu for the run is attached and must be pre-booked on the event entry form. For those wishing to stay overnight rooms may be booked direct with the hotel. Mention The Wolds Way for a discounted rate, details attached.

Entry fees for the Run are: MGCC/MGOC per vehicle Members £15 Non-members £20

Dining at Cave Castle Hotel per person £20.50 for 2 courses, £23.50 for 3 courses, payable with entry fee

To be recorded in the route book and reserve dining places, please send in your entry form by 21st April 2019.

A minimum of £5 from each entry fee will be donated to the charities Yorkshire Cancer Research and Dove House Hospice.
