The event will start from:
Fox Valley Retail Park, Stocksbridge, signing on is from 9am & cars to leave by 11am.
The route will take in scenic roads around Holmfirth which was the location of the classic “Last Of The Summer Wine” television series. Car Club and individual enthusiasts can enjoy driving on a network of unspoilt roads, which remain largely unchanged from the days when classic cars were built and all in the heart of “The Last Of The Summer Wine Country”.
Finishing at:
The Oil Can Cafe, Holmfirth which is housed within The Carding Shed, a unique trip down memory lane to a golden, bygone era. While away a few hours in this retro, vintage themed experience, based in a magnificent former mill. Browse around the classic car display, which echoes the nostalgic feel of the historic Goodwood Revival and fronts I.K. Sports Classic, who continue to offer bespoke car restoration facilities as well as routine services and M.O.T. work on all cars, alongside long and short term storage for both classic and general vehicles alike.
Entry fee per car max 2 people:
MGCC Members: £20.00 Non-Members: £25.00
Extra passenger: £5.00
Entry fee includes route book, rally plaque & tea or coffee at The Oil Can Cafe
Plus an optional charity donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care
Food is also available at The Oil Can Cafe for Daffodil Run entrants at cost from 2:30pm if required.
