Yet another wonderful sunny day brought out a good attendance for September. This time we had exceptional selection of MGs. Out of 11 MGs ten were different marks, from the oldest, Tony Hay’s MG NA, to the newest David Copeman’s late model MG TF. Included were a VA, TD, RV8 (X2), MGA, MGB, Cooper MG, our Yorkshire Area President’s Magnette, and the writers Mk1 Midget. The Natter is gathering strength, and we are delighted with the support.

Taking up the treasurer’s job, Rod organized our first competition and raffle with some wine & “Speckled Hen” up for grabs and some funny ‘booby’ prizes. We also discussed a celebration of the festive season and our first Christmas lunch will be on 15 December.

Our next Natter outing will be at the Classic Car and Bike Show at the Golden Lion in Northallerton on 9 October.

We also took the decision that we will keep running the Natter over the winter, extending the meeting to twelve annually. If you are reading this and in North Yorkshire area and feel like joining in we’ll be happy to see you at lunchtime at the Masons, Hopperton, on the third Wednesday of the month.
