Again another wonderful sunny day brought out a good attendance and varied selection of MGs, old and recent, for October. At the beginning of the month a few of us went up to relatively new event at the Classic Car gathering at the Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton. According to the hotel manager, Martin, who organized this, the third such event, the show had more cars than ever, and interestingly several pre-war cars that had been converted to farmer’s pick-up trucks! Like a meeting of “Hillbillies”!
It was our turn to do the Inter-Natter quiz entry, but being a new Natter, many of those attending were already members of other groups, and had already entered the quiz, so it was up to Rod and I to have a go.
Next event – our Christmas lunch on 15 December. All welcome, just let me know
The Natter will keep running over the winter, extending the meeting to twelve annually. If you are reading this and in North Yorkshire area and feel like joining in we’ll be happy to see you at lunchtime at the Masons, Hopperton, on the third Wednesday of the month.
